Review:
The Prozacs hail from a small town just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Playing since 2001 the band has many releases under their belts ( 2 prior full length CD's, 1 split CD, 1 live CD, 1 CDEP, 2 7" records, and 2 Split 7" records ) but this is the first time we find the Prozacs on 12" vinyl. Brought to you in collaboration with Knowhere Records out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. With one song exlcusive to the vinyl this 12 track full length is a record that collectors must have. "Playing The Chords We Love" was also released on CD format by Cheapskate Records out of Schenectady, New York. The Prozacs have a certain formula when it comes to their songs, one that prevents us from comparing them to all the other pop punk bands out there. All I can say is they are singular and infectious. If you like your pop punk a little harder, edgier and full of whit and sentiment then the Prozacs are for you and what better way to be introduced to the band then with their brand new record.
