+ sticker & insert. Glad to see this San Francisco band make it to vinyl. LA CORDE dices with that dark, gothic-tinged punk that evokes rainy days, black raincoats, and long bangs. Chiming, reverb-soaked guitars and driving rhythms are reminiscent of TSOL or BAUHAUS while the vocal delivery would have me reaching for my SISTERS OF MERCY records if I actually had any. If you've enjoyed the ESTRANGED's recent output, or like your punk on the gloomy, pessimistic side, this will not disappoint. (AM) (Maximum Rock N Roll)
