This is not your typical Deep Six extreme hardcore record. Not at all. But I bet you a dollar I know how it came about. I'm guessing it is as simple as this: Bob or Christine at Deep Six heard I.F.G. and said to themselves, "This band is so damn amazing that I have to do a record with them regardless of the fact they are different than most bands on Deep Six." Sometimes something is so good you just have to take it and run with it. I.F.G. are like that. They are a hard driving punk band with all that fire and passion that only real rock 'n' roll has. Nothing wimpy here. Nothing even remotely reminiscent of that cutesy radio friendly crap you hear on college radio. This is leather jacket, blood, sweat and tears bar punk. They even take on and conquer a BLACK SABBATH cover tune. A task that has embarrassed almost any band foolhardy enough top try it in the first place.15
