Review:
Two of Pop Punk's best acts together on one piece of wax. The Jizz Kids ( Half Apers, Part Accelerators ) hailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands have had a good run building up momentum and popularity amongst the purest of pop punk fans. Here, the bands sophmore release, has them knocking out some of the most catchy, full-throttled pop punk you'll ever hear. The Guts prove that hard work pays off. This band has been kicking ass up and down the circut for years. Putting out great albums, playing great shows and at even backing up Ben Weasel and Wimpy Rutherford. Either way you look at it the pairing of these two bands is a match made in bubblegum heaven. These four songs were originally recorded in early 2007 in the Netherlands, and for one reason or another they were never released. Geoff and Nate of the Guts lend vocals on the Jizz Kids song "Drop The Zero ( Go With The Hero )". While Kevin Aper of the Jizz Kids and the Apers lends vocals on the Guts song "Something New" and Emi DiMaggio of Los DiMaggios lends vocals on the Guts song "Count To Ten". A really fun record for any fans of pop punk / punk rock with amazing cover art by Jake Sauer. (No Breaks Records)
